Questions from hotel owners, answered straight.
Our FAQ Topics
What does the website cost, and what do I actually own?
You own the website outright. The build is ₱120,000 one time for a hotel or resort up to 20 rooms, and ₱180,000 one time for 21 to 50 rooms. Above 50 rooms we quote it custom. Yours permanently are the domain, the content, the guest data and the code, and that doesn't depend on any monthly plan. Every build includes 12 months of managed hosting from launch.
How does payment work?
It's split in two. 60 percent before we begin, and 40 percent on launch. There's no third payment on the build. The payment gateway charges its own standard processing fee on guest payments, and nobody takes a commission on top of your bookings.
What's the difference between the build and the Care Plan?
The build is paid once and you own it: the website, the booking engine with zero commission, PayMongo payments, the reservations dashboard, room and villa management, the availability calendar, your guest list, the booking and revenue reports built into the admin, seasonal rates and promo codes, staff roles and the activity log, and the content editor. The Care Plan is monthly and covers the hosting after your first 12 months, backups and upkeep, the guest AI assistant, the admin AI assistant, OTA channel sync, live reporting and technical support on Viber and WhatsApp during business hours, Monday to Friday. It's ₱8,500 a month for Boutique and ₱14,500 a month for Hotel, both with a three month minimum, then month to month.
Do I have to take the Care Plan?
No. It's optional and it has a three month minimum, then it runs month to month. If you stop it, your website and your bookings keep running, because you own them. What stops are the parts that run on accounts we hold: the guest AI, the admin AI, the OTA sync, the live reporting that draws on those, priority support and our managed hosting.
Can I just pay for hosting?
Yes, after the first year. Hosting only is ₱2,500 a month and it's available after the first year, because your first 12 months of managed hosting are already included in the build. It keeps the site online without the Care Plan features. If you'd rather move to a host of your own, that's a separate paid service and we quote it before doing anything.
Is there anything the booking system will not sell for me?
Yes, and it's worth knowing before you talk to us. The booking engine sells room-nights. It doesn't sell day passes, cottages, entrance fees, function rooms or tours. We also don't build, run or manage ad campaigns and we never handle ad spend, and we build for hotels and resorts of roughly 5 to 50 rooms. If one of those is the thing you needed, say so on the call and we'll tell you straight away.
Are there other costs I should know about?
Two things sit on top of the prices here. The first is VAT, added at the rate the law requires and shown as its own line on your invoice. The second is the payment gateway's own standard processing fee on card and GCash payments, charged by them rather than by us. Beyond those, everything we charge for is on this page, and your quote shows the full amount before you agree to anything. We never take a commission on your bookings.
How long until we go live?
Thirty days of build time on our side. Your approvals sit on top of that, so a build moves as fast as the answers do. Your quote carries a target date from the start, and if it shifts you'll hear it from us on the day it shifts rather than at the end.
Do you discount the build?
No. It's ₱120,000 up to 20 rooms and ₱180,000 for 21 to 50 rooms, and those are the prices for everyone. You own the result either way, so there's no cheaper version where you own less of it.
What is BlueFunnel Systems?
BlueFunnel Systems is a Designblue product, built for small hotels and resorts in the Philippines. You get the website, the booking engine, GCash and card payments, and a dashboard to run it all from. It's one build, one price, and you own it outright. Designblue Philippines Inc. is a registered Philippine company in Makati City, and it's who you'd be contracting with.
What is BFS Hotelier?
BFS Hotelier is our hotel package: your website and your booking system, built together as one thing. You own it outright. It's ₱120,000 up to 20 rooms and ₱180,000 for 21 to 50 rooms, one time, and above 50 rooms we'll quote it properly. What's in it is listed in full on the pricing page.
How does the booking system work?
A guest picks their dates, sees live availability, chooses a room and pays, and the booking's in your dashboard straight away. You set your rates, your room types, your inventory and your policies. Your guest pays you, not a middleman, and nobody takes a commission on the way through.
Do I actually own my hotel website?
Yes. Once the build is paid for, the content, the guest data and the code are yours outright. Your domain is yours too, though we can't take credit for that one, because you register it and pay for it yourself. None of it depends on the Care Plan or on how long you stay. We don't hold your website hostage, and we never will.
Can my guests pay with GCash?
Yes. Payments run through the platform you choose, covering GCash, credit and debit cards, and bank transfer. Tell us which one you'd rather use and we'll set it up with you. The gateway charges its own standard processing fee, and no platform takes a commission on top of your booking.
Can I run my hotel from my phone?
Yes. The dashboard works in a phone browser, so you can check bookings, block dates or adjust rates from anywhere. There's nothing to install and nothing to update.
Do I need to know anything technical to use it?
No. If you can use Facebook and GCash, you can use your dashboard. We walk you through it at handover, and the screens are built for a hotel owner rather than a developer. On the Care Plan there's also an admin AI assistant you can just ask.
Does it keep my Agoda, Booking.com and Airbnb calendars in sync?
Yes, on the Care Plan. Your calendars sync, so a booking on one channel updates your availability everywhere else. Boutique Care covers Agoda, Booking.com and Airbnb, and Hotel Care adds Traveloka. It's how the last room on a long weekend stops getting sold twice.
Can I update my own website after it is built?
Yes. Every build includes the content editor, so you can change your text, swap photos, update your rates and put up a promo without calling a developer. There's no ticket and no waiting. We run a training session at handover so you and your team start comfortable.
Do I get an AI chatbot for my website?
Yes, on the Care Plan. There's a guest AI assistant on your website and an admin AI assistant in your dashboard. They run on the Care Plan rather than the build, so they switch on the day you start one.
How much does a hotel website from BlueFunnel cost?
You own it outright for a one-time ₱120,000 up to 20 rooms, or ₱180,000 for 21 to 50 rooms. Above 50 rooms we'll quote it custom. Every build includes 12 months of managed hosting from launch. Payment's split 60 percent before we begin and 40 percent on launch.
What is the difference between the one-time build fee and the monthly Care Plan?
The build fee is what you pay once to own your website and booking system. The Care Plan's optional and monthly: managed hosting after your first 12 months, backups and upkeep, both AI assistants, OTA channel sync, live reporting, and technical support on Viber and WhatsApp during business hours, Monday to Friday. It's ₱8,500 a month for Boutique and ₱14,500 for Hotel, with a three month minimum, then it runs month to month. If you'd rather not have it, hosting only is ₱2,500 a month, available after the first year.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Three things sit outside the prices on this page: VAT, your domain, which you register and pay for yourself, and the payment gateway's own standard processing fee. Hosting's included for your first 12 months, and after that it's ₱2,500 a month on hosting only, available after the first year, or included in your Care Plan.
Do you run ads for me?
No. We don't run, manage or fund ads of any kind, and we don't publish on your behalf. Our Social Media Content product makes the posts, reels, captions and monthly calendar, and you approve and publish them from your own accounts. It's separate from the build: ₱12,000 to onboard, then ₱10,000 or ₱16,000 a month on a six month minimum.
Am I tied into a long contract?
The build's a one-time payment with nothing ongoing attached to it. The Care Plan has a three month minimum, then it runs month to month. Social Media Content has a six month minimum, then 30 days written notice either way. Those minimums are real, and we'd rather tell you now than bury them.
What happens to my website if I stop the Care Plan?
Your website and your bookings keep running, and you own them. The site, the booking engine, your dashboard, the content editor and the built-in reports all keep working, on hosting that can run them. What stops are the parts running on our accounts: both AI assistants, the OTA sync, the live reporting that draws on those, priority support and our managed hosting. After your first 12 months, hosting only is ₱2,500 a month if you'd rather stay on our servers.
How long does it take to build my website?
Thirty days is the usual build time on our side, and your approvals sit on top of that. The fastest builds are the ones where your material arrives complete and the yeses come back quickly. If the date moves, we'll tell you on the day it moves rather than at the end.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your room types, your rates, your photos and your booking policies, plus your domain details and the documentation and credentials for your payment platform. If the photos you have are what you have, tell us early and we'll design around them honestly. The 60 percent deposit is what starts the work.
What support do I get after my website launches?
Every build includes a handover and a training session, so you can run the site yourself. On a Care Plan you also get technical support on Viber and WhatsApp during business hours, Monday to Friday. Without a Care Plan your website and your bookings keep running, because you own them, but the ongoing support is the part that's on the plan.
Which areas of the Philippines do you serve?
All of them. We're based in Makati City and we work with hotels and resorts nationwide. Everything from kickoff to handover runs remotely, over calls, Viber and WhatsApp. We built the working booking site and system for a hotel in Siargao, so island logistics don't scare us.
Is BlueFunnel Systems a registered, legitimate company?
Yes. You'd be contracting with Designblue Philippines Inc., a registered Philippine company in Salcedo Village, Makati City, and BlueFunnel Systems is its product for hotels. Designblue has been building brand identities, websites and marketing systems for Philippine companies since 2007. We're a young company on the hotel side and we say so, because you deserve to know who you're handing a down payment to.
